Promoting With Solo Ads

If you've been trying to get your 'feet wet' in affiliate marketing, but don't know where to start, you might want to consider Solo Ads. 

Solo ads are emails delivered to a targetted list of subscribers who have signed up to receive offers in your niche.

They are effective for two reasons:

1) They are extremely targetted

2) They are shown to people who read emails and are more likely to read your emails in the future.

With solo ads, you only pay once someone reads your emails and clicks through to your offer, usually 40-65c.

They can be very profitable for the MMO niche if you've got everything set up right!

(For other niches I would go with a different strategy)

Setting Up

1. Sign up for Udimi

The only Solo Ads platform i can recommend right now is Udimi. They have a lot of filters in place to exclude double-clicks, bots and irrelevant clicks making sure you get top quality traffic.

2. Create a Capture Page.

This is a page you will use to collect emails, and build your own subscribers list. You can get a ready made page at instantcapture.page

3. Sign up for an Autoresponder

My personal favorite is GetResponse, because of their landing page options, push notifications, and a few other cool features.

Making It Work

Step 1:

You will need to set up the landing page you created at instantcapture.page to integrate with Getresponse.

As a thank you page, you would use your offer's sales page with your affiliate link.

The other option is to use Getresponse's landing page tool which will automatically integrate with your list.

Quick tip: Getresponse default servers WILL deliver your emails to the spam folder, so you will need a workaround for that.

I use Google's servers to send email, and you can do this with Google Workshop.

Step 2:

Write a compelling follow up email sequence and feed it to your autoresponder.

Be sure to provide value in your emails before calling to action and space them out a bit (if you don't know how to do this, see below)

Step 3:

Choose a seller on Udimi and purchase traffic. You will want to choose a seller that has at least 50% of sales and 20% repeat orders.

Quick Tip: Look for top buyers for any given month and who they are buying traffic from. If they have bought 3 times from the same person, that means that seller's traffic is GOLD!

The EASY Way - PI365:
